Because Longson doesn't support X86(i386) instruction set, it uses a instruction set which is like MIPS. And all the PC games use i386 instruction set, so no PC games can be run on Longson, except open-source games.

Oh,dear.
It seemed that the Longson is like Windows CE based processor. We can use Vmware for vista to play games, but the Crysis, FEAR , Need for Speed 12 is unable to play because the Vmware's video card is not good enough.
I have ever played Need for Speed Most Wanted in Vmware(Celeron1000+128MB RAM+Trident9880) , the screen kept on flicking.

All the programs we use now can't run on Longson. But if you have the sources, you can recompile them, so that it can be run on Longson. So now only Linux system can be run on Longson.

Longson IS NOT a Windows CE based processor.
I used to have a PDA which had a MIPS processor and it ran Windows CE 2.0. It was so old....
