If I change the windows MUI language into English, I can use the English version speech recognition, huh.. It is fantastic! I will praise it ...

i use matlab in ubuntu, but i'm not sure whether it works better in ubuntu than in windows.

I use XP.....

I compiled wine in my PC. I didn't install wine by downloading directly from the Ubuntu sources.
I don't think UAC is bad. But its frequently asking for permission makes me bore.

I dont know why so many people hate vista only because of its UAC. As a matter of fact, anyone can easily disable UAC in the control panel.

There's a trick: add the program which is required to run with UAC to the "Runonce"list in reg, and add a script to add the key again when power off to group policy.

The speech recog. for me is quite weird. I'm now used of typing, and I HATE practise!

I think UAC is useful....I hate Trojan............I don't afraid of it but I hate clearing it..

But, as for me(or people like me), I always meet UAC dialog. Vista kept asking Cancel or Allow? Cancel or Allow? Even when I'm trying to make Everest autostart, Vista tells me that it has BLOCKED Everest from starting. Uh!
In fact, I think sudo is really good. Once you have authorized, you don't need to do that again in a time. I think UAC in windows 7 is prettier. I hardly meet UAC dialog. (Although there is a label before the link~)

Everyone has his choice, huh~

Is Vista junk?
At least, I can hardly meet UAC diolog during my daily use. And, YOU CANNOT MISS THE SPEECH RECOGNITION! Does Linux have?
Although I agree that Linux is good, it isn't much useful for me. Especially when I'll use full-function qq, and play some games. In my circle, almost everyone uses M$ Office. What should I do when I have to use Open Office and have to face the junk format which fully isn't accept by almost everyone?
Don't tell me Wine. I can't spend lots of time downloading and installing it when I just wanna play games for a while....The important reason why I don't like Linux , is that I DON'T LIKE CONFIG MOST THINGS BY MYSELF!!!!!...................
And .... I can't stand the junk net , the network to Chinese (Taiwan/HK) Soft Source is deadly slow.........................
